XXXI Days of Poetry - Day the Fourteenth
Pain and Misery
Pain
and
Misery
are not
the same thing.
That's why they say
Pain & Misery
together,
using both words.
Pain,
when flexing
its muscles,
showing off,
is unrivaled,
by anything.
But don't let
Pain's radiance,
its incandescent
glow, blind you
from the truth
that, Misery,
is about as
miserable as
a thing can be.
