XXXI Days of Poetry (MMXII) - Day III
Twenty-two days ago it started,
Fifteen days ago it stopped;
Eight days ago it happened again -
Yesterday he finally fucking popped.
Three weeks ago he was angry,
Two weeks ago so relieved;
Last week he really thought he lost his mind -
Today, he is learning how to grieve.
Twenty-two minutes since the letter,
Fifteen since he called police,
Eight more minutes till they hear the shot
Maybe he will finally find some peace.
